Art Section Rules

1. All art (of any kind) must be YOUR OWN ART. Do not post art by other people, with or without their permission, or links to other artists just because you like them. We have general chat for that sort of thing.
2. ONE THREAD PER PERSON! If you come up with a new piece of art, writing, etc, post it in your original thread. It saves space.
3. Please, resize large images as best as you can. We hate it when the board stretches out, and a lot of people have to wait for larger images to load up. If you cannot resize them, please just post a link to your image.
4. Don't spam people's art threads/the art section in general. There will be spankings. And by spankings I mean suspensions.
5. Criticism is acceptable, but insulting and flaming is not. Do NOT tell posters here that their art sucks, they suck, they should get AIDS etc etc blah blah. You will be suspended. Banned, if you're bad enough. Instead, tell them what they can do to improve it, if they WANT criticism. This brings us to-
6. If you do NOT want criticism but rather comments, say so on your art thread.
Example:
John Doe's Art (Criticism welcome)
Dan McCrybaby's art (I can't handle criticism! BAAAW!)
If you really don't care either way, you don't have to mention it one way or the other. If you get criticism and do not like it, do NOT cry to the admins, throw a tantrum, or verbally abuse the member who gave it to you. Inform myself or Loren (That's Aisling) and we will take care of it/delete it. Make sure you clearly state in your art thread whether or not you want to receive it.
7. If your images is rated R, hentai,porn, what-have-you, please give proper warning before sharing. Either warn of the content in the subject of your thread, space out the image from the warning (so we have to scroll to see it) or better yet, just link us to it, instead of posting the image itself in the thread. While this board is for mature audiences, not everyone may want to see dirty drawings/stories.
8. Do not, not NOT N O T steal art. I hate art thieves. And if I catch you I will ban you. Seriously, don't do it. And if you find one yourself, report them to me, I will take care of it. Do NOT flame.
