Why was this office so cramped? Tristan scowled angrily as he graded yet another dismal essay. Why couldn't these kids write? It could have been that he graded too hard, but no. These kids sucked at writing. How had they gotten into his AP class? He angrily scratched out another mistake in the essay over the environment.

"This doesn't even make sense!" He complained and threw down his pen. He took another swig from his coffee cup. He needed the energy if he was going to get through this. Tristan often left his office door open, in hopes of interruption. But it didn't happen often. He'd even welcome a student asking about their homework assignment (which he'd told them he wouldn't answer any questions about).

Peeking outside of this cramped office, Tristan noted the emptiness of the area. He groaned. "Isn't anyone stupid enough to bother me while I'm working?"

Matthias went for a little stroll down the hall. A few teachers glared at him from their mountain of work. Files, papers, messy computer desks crammed with post-it notes. He took his work home. His own boxy little office was pristine. His keyboard had a fine layer of dust between nearly every key.

As he strolled by, he heard a fascinating complaint from one of the offices. He slung his jacket over his shoulder (to free up his hand) and stuck his head into Tristan's office. "I could be a fool for you," he said. Undeniable flirtation in his tone, even an audacious wink.

Matthias hardly looked like a teacher (but this was Oscar Wilde.) The ratio of bed-worthy men was over half, at least within his own tastes. The harried Tristan certainly met his specifications. Matthias grinned; wolfish, all angular strength and long, artfully messy strands of hair.

He removed his head from the other man's office and started down the corridor, wondering if Tristan would be irate enough to follow.
