Adminless?

So.... I'm hoping any day now Loren will pop back out of the woodwork, but in the event that doesn't happen I know there's been talk of relocating...?
What are people's thoughts/feelings?
I just know that right now there's a lot of dead stuff on the board and people making bios that probably wouldn't get accepted and, if we like this and plan to grow, stuff like that is really gonna freak out new people o.o;;
Also there's no way to officially add new content or update anything or change looks/layout/etc.

My opinion is to wait another week or so and at least see if we *hear* from Loren. If we do, we can figure out what happened with the random disappearance and ask if one of us can be made a co-moderator so that that doesn't happen again.
If we don't hear from Loren, I'd probably rather relocate. Just cause there are some things we can't delete that are frightening and possibly not the best thing for new people looking at the site to see;;.

I hate to say I'm in agreement with you. We're members, but we can do nothing without the admins here. It seems they disappeared off the face of the earth.
Without an admin, a site is very crippled... and I know a lot of people have to work into characters and such. It'd be a shame to see it go to waste. I hope we hear from Loren, but in the event we don't, I would have to agree about relocating.

I dunno, since there's always the issue that this is Loren's site and the setting and plot is something she made and it seems kind of wrong to just make a new site and use that. Though if we made a new site with a different plot and the same characters, it'd almost be like starting from square one with some of them. I dunno, I think I'm just attached to it here. x.o
I think we should definitely wait a week for Loren to show up, though.

Well, if we relocated, I definitely wouldn't want to use the same plot... I mean, that'd just be stealing. Character transferring should be fine, though.
I really want Loren to show up before we do ANYTHING, but there's still the chance she won't. I'm with Baron, give her a little more time. After this next week, it'll have been about a month.
;-; *sigh*

See that's what I hate, too. Is that the characters evolved from the setting. And I mean, half the boards out there are of some 'academy' or whosy whatsy, but it sucks that we'd have to sacrifice what we've put months into writing because she disappeared.
Though, as far as specifics, the only really relevant information we'd need to carry over is "LGBT-friendly academy". It's not like any of the details have really factored into our characters, is it?
We wouldn't take what she'd written about the setting and the like. I'm sure we could come up with our own details on founding and what not.
It's a crap situation -.-

From what I have been reading, we might have to relocate. Its sad because our characters were made for this board, and I just started with two of my characters. What is a person to do? >.<
